Working at McDonald's can be stressful with the looming issue of rude customers. But that is not to say rude or abrasive customers are always wrong or behaving as such without cause. Just as you have bad days, customers do too. Maybe the customer has made a mistake and thinks they have been shortchanged, or maybe they have miscalculated because they've had a long day. Would you not also become highly upset if you thought you were cheated out of your hard earned money? Regardless if they are right or wrong, they are only reacting as any human would in that situation. People have to deal with the daily stress of life and they come to a fast food restaurant looking for a fast and impersonal meal experience. The problem is that employees like Nuñez approach rude or in other ways overbearing customers immediately with the mindset that they are wrong and without reason. While there are always the exceptions and so always the occasional customer who fit that assumption, if all troublesome customers are dealt with in this manner then the job is not actually getting done and the customer is further frustrated. Obviously workers like Nuñez are not ready to be managers if the inability to deal with these kinds of customers is any indication.
