A: Community in Action

Community in Action is the story of Studs Terkel and how he saw his community come together during great hardships. Growing up during the Great Depression he saw his family and community face many difficulties but they came together and were able to overcome them. The primary message in this piece is that a group can achieve much more than an individual which I find to be very true. No matter how hard you work you can always use help, and great things can be made when people come together for a common purpose.
