A- "There Is No Job More Important Than Parenting" by Benjamin Carson

Although I would never admit to her, I believe in my mother. She was born in an entirely different country. Back in her hometown she did not go to school at because she had to take care of her brothers and sisters. All she actually did was go to work, then go home and do the housework. Now a citizen of the United States, she does the same exact thing but she is not uneducated. Despite not having a formal education, my mother is can read and she passed the test to become a naturalized citizen, which speaks volumes in my book.
Although my mom cannot really help me when get frustrated, and need help with my homework, she is very supportive nonetheless. If need help cutting out figures for a project, she is the first one there to help. If I need advice, she is there to share her wisdom. My family has never actually been paycheck to paycheck but my mother still has to budget the money we do have and do not know how she does. Most of the time she spends her hard-earned money things that I really want but don’t actually need. She is the most selfless person I know, and has in turn taught me how to be the same. Without my mother growing up I do not know if I would be the good person I am today.
