Assertion- True Friendship

I think that true friendship can last forever. This is not like on facebook or myspace where you have hundreds of friends. True friends the ones that can last forever are few and far between. You can meet true friends at school, on a playground, in dire situations, or very sad ones. Now believing that true friendship last forever what is a True Friend? I believe a true friend is someone who will help you up even when there down. Will be there during the bad and the very bad. Who you treat as your family when they have your own. This is the irony in social networking sites and the internet. Sure you have thousands of friends, but do you really have any at all?
