Assertion Journal: Study: Violent Video Games Don't Make Killer Kids
This Assertion Journal is for all of you who are going to be awake all night playing Call of Duty 2. The article Violent Video Games Don’t Make Killer Kids obviously, argues that kids aren’t made into killers by violent video games alone. The author brings up the recent studies made by the University of South Carolina that help further prove that a “symphony of events controls violence.” It’s nice to have evidence that helps prove that a single video game won’t cause someone to go out and hurt another human being, unless they have other problems. It was interesting how at the end of the article the author argued that by blaming certain violent crimes on a video game system actually decreases the blame put on the criminals as well as the guilt the criminals put on themselves.
