I would like to thank you for keeping our nation safe. I know you didn't engage in the War on your own but you voiced your opinion so greatly that it became a necessity. The fact that a terrorist group harbored by a hostile country carried out the largest terrorist attack on U.S. soil was grounds for war by itself, even before we knew Al Queda took responsibility for it. It made me proud, just like every other citizen, that the U. S. had a president that can stand up for our country and, even better, with a strong military force behind him. I believe that the U.S. should take every step to keeping this nation the safest it can be even if its war. Many people criticized you, saying things like "the War was a horrible decision" or "the War is hopeless", but what message does the U.S. send if it does not engage in a war to protect the homeland? Well an answer is, Hey bomb me whenever you want so we can just argue about it in Congress. You told them what was up. Thank you for protecting the greatest nation in the world.
Sincerely,
Pat Tabb
