Assertion Journal

This Assertion Journal is in response to Danielle Lorenz's journal about the article I Didn't Wash My Car Last Month by Jeff (no last name submitted).

Why is it that it is a necessity, in this world we live in, to always be perfect or you are looked upon differently by others and maybe even, OH NO!, criticized? Why is it that Jeff has to be perfect? Just because he drives a BMW, lives in a rich neighborhood, and has a name like Jeff doesn't mean he has to be perfect. I bet he has other things on his mind, not his outward appearance to others and especially his snobby and arrogant neighbors.
Everyone has at one time just not cared how they look and gone to school that way. Do you think people judge you differently when you do that? The answer is no. Because even if you do not care that day they already have a impression of how you are everyday whether its a good one or not and they will know its just an off day.
So, to everybody who is screwed up and gets mad with those I-really-don't-care-because-today-I-woke-up-late or those who-gives-what-they-say-all-I-care-about-is-that-I'm-happy people; please don't judge and cry to your sister in a letter. Maybe they are going through a rough time so try to help not hurt.

P.S. Mr. B - I really don't know why it went in all italics. I have done everything to fix it but nothing works.

Pat
