In the news article, We Can Afford to Give Parents a Break, Jody Heyman makes several relative and interesting statements about American policies such as the statement that of the 168 countries that Heyman did research on, 164 gave paid maternity leave in some form or fashion but the United States does not. I liked this piece and found some of the things mentioned in the article amusing while others were unbelievable.
