Bill Gates wrote a insightful essay called Unleashing the Power of Creativity and Intelligence. In this short essay he describes how in the seventh grade he acquired a natural interest in technology and creating new appliances that would benefit society. Bill Gates goes on to state that he still thoroughly enjoys his job.
One of Gates's statements is how there is a need to help society and people around us. This includes all over the world, just because one person is dying on a different continent doesn't mean they are less important than people on your continent.
Gates also believes in the importance of health education. Bill points out how many people are dying in developed countries from diseases that can be prevented are cured. I believe he is right, there should be more importance in the funding of public health education. What is more important than your health? To show that he is a strong supporter of health education, Bill Gates himself donates a lot of money towards this fund.
