This assertion journal is a response to Be Cool the Pizza Delivery Dude by Sarah Adams.
Sarah Adams states that to be cool you need to let the Pizza Delivery guy cut you off once in a while, because, just like you once were, he is on slower turning wheel of life. I completely agree with her idea that the pizza delivery dude isn’t the guy you need to be worrying about; it’s the CEO of the company that just went bankrupt. He is the guy that just lost 20,000 people their jobs, not the pizza dude. There is no reason for us to get hot headed over being cut off or passed, we should in fact take the opportunity to reflect on what we have actual done to people, before we throw stones at him. We all have been in the situation where we accidently cut someone off or fell into someone’s way, so there is no reason for us to make a huge case over it if someone else does it. I believe the Pizza dude philosophy should be observed by everyone because there is no reason not to be nice to someone when they are having a bad day.
