zinn
Im not sure if we are allowed to blog yet but i find Zinn's point of view very refreshing. The book isnt boring at all for me and its more like reading a story. Its a completely different outlook on history than we have been taught sense little years. I dont agree with a lot of things he says, and thats just because im not a socialist, but i dont hold him against anything for it.

I am glad you are not holding him against anything. That would be painful for the guy.
ReplyDeleteGrant, you are taking a step in the right direction by acknowledging that Zinn's viewpoint is, at the least, readable. What you need to think about now is the "why?" of Zinn's point of view. What are his underlying reasons for wanting to publish this book? (Or, why a socialist history of a democratic republic?).
